Well, this little fella is certainly ready for spring because he is sooooo tired of being indoors! It won't be long now and he's resting up so he can be ready for warmer days!

"Takin' A Break" is an ACEO done in acrylics on 140 lb Arches cold pressed watercolor paper.

Why, a pot of gold of course! This St. Patrick's Day ACEO is made from tiny squares of hand-dyed fabric in the form of a rainbow.

I got inspired by the sparrows that are just arriving here and by the cherry trees that are typical in my zone, blossoms are all over also if the weather is making jokes and is warm one day and frozen the day after.

How to Make a Fish Pretty

In response to a challenge to create "off-colored animals", I created this "Striped Bass". He was interesting, but not pretty. So I added glittery metallic quilting lines, interwoven glittery tulle, metal fishy buttons, czech glass beads... and then he was pretty!
