A new acrylic ACEO for Halloween - Skull & Roses
I spied this faux skull in a bed of blood red roses in Atlanta's famous Oakland Cemetery in 2007. They had decked out the cemetery for Halloween celebrations.
I've wanted to paint if for a long time. I chose to do it in acrylics, as an ACEO (2.5x3.5"). I wanted the colors to be bold. Though I think at some stage I may do it as a larger watercolor.
Currently listed on eBay.

Very cool image and I love the roses with the skull!
Thank you so very much. Yes, soon as I saw this in real life I knew I had to paint it at some time. I think I'll do it as a watercolor, too, sometime in the future.
Much appreciated.
